Our US office works very closely with local Ethiopia Team (Our country representative, University Engineering team, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Wereda offocials, community leaders, Local Contractor and Volunteers).
We approach our work with the humility and understanding of the community needs. We visit in person and talk to the locals to understand and collaborate with them. We try to reduce the cost to our best abilities by soliciting support from universities, volunteers, material discount from local factories.
We started with 2 pilot projects to understand the challenges and any lesson learns and will then expand our effort to the broader community.
Transparency is very important to our donors so we communicate and share our project progress/challenges on ongoing basis.
In addition, we are doing our best to deliver the projects on time.
We use Condigital Software which is a contraction project management tool to track and manage the project from US. https://condigital.io/
